Sare Moazen is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Ilyass Tabiai (ilylabs), co-supervised by Prof. David St-Onge. Her research explores 3D printing of polymer/regolith composites for in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) on the Moon, with a focus on recycling food packaging materials such as LDPE using lunar regolith simulant as filler. Her work contributes to the long-term challenge of sustainable space habitat construction and has been published in Acta Astronautica (2025).
