Louis Catar is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Ilyass Tabiai (ilylabs), working on advanced additive manufacturing techniques. His research spans ultra-lightweight micro-lattice structures fabricated by photosensitive 3D printing, multi-material stereolithography (MSLA) with a novel wiper mechanism, and the development of lightweight structures for indoor aerostats. His work is carried out in collaboration with Prof. David St-Onge (INIT Robots Lab, ÉTS) and has been supported by Flying Whales.
